I had a small accident in September, and by just bad luck, my insurance was cancelled(for like 10 days between payments), so I want to present a case to get my car back in shape.
The other party did not report the accident(although I reported mine to my insurance agent)

i had a car accident in nov 28th 2006, and my lawyer chose my doctor, who later operated on my knee (arthroscopic part of the accident injury)….
today, the other driver insurance called me, and told me that they got a letter from my lawyer telling them that he no longer represent me. last month, i called the lawyer for update, his secretary told me that my case as transferred to heir trial lawyer. i called that trial lawyer, and they never returned my call, and i never got any any formal letter from either lawyer to inform me on the change.
Please hepl me what should i do next??? i went for physical therapy 3xweek for more than 6 months..could my case be lost,and they lawyer just drop my case..no longer nat to handle it?????
please help me understand… i just called my lawyer, and he seems to be avoiding me, and so I emailed…
can you please tell me what should I do? Could he do that to me..drop me? Should I seek another lawyer in the middle of this??

if he dropped me for lawyer reason, like can’t win my case..does this mean he just leave me…not untill i called last month, his assitant no longer have your file, your case was trasfered to our trial lawyer..she gave me the name, and number,, but that layer never even send me a ltter, or return my phone call…could the other lawyer refuses me too??

i finally sent 2 letters to both lawyers, i mailed them cerified. thye should get he leers by thursday. i still have no phone calls from eithter one. i left messages for both.
i did not mention anything about complaining to the state bar.

If i’m rear-ended in an auto accident, the other driver is at fault and their insurance covers my rental. are there any limitations as to what the insurance covers? will i be responsible for the damage waiver and so forth?
i was actually asking who pays for the insurance on the rental car.
i’m not young. the other driver was proven to be at fault.

Thank you jmayer5025 for your reply. I already have an attorney and after a year of the insurance company denying my claims, this attorney got a reconstructionist company to look at my case, because in Colorado you have to prove the liablitiy of the other person, especially when the cops don’t give out a ticket. This company wrote a complimentary letter stating 100% of the liablitiy was this girl’s. So now the insurance compnay wants us to put together a settlement amount to present them with & not file the lawsuit right now. We have a great chance to settle very soon, but I know I need to have money for a future surgery and ongoing therapy and medications probably for the rest of my life. My spine doc said for me to use therapy and anything else to help me cope with pain until I can’t ake anymore & then surgery. This is because I am only 36 & in good shape, the advise me to try & cope as long as possible as there are new alternatives delveloping. I don’t want to be fused.

I was in a car wreck and the insurance company only offered me 1,000 dollars for my injuries and inconvenience. So I called an attorney, and he sent me to a chiropractor. Due to my injuries he wants me to attend physical therapy with him 3 days a week. I was just wondering if this is going to be covered by my claim and will I get money for my self to get my life back in order.

My hubby was in an accident a couple of days ago. His car is mangled and he is suffering from back pain. After accident he went to the ER to be checked and was fine as far as they could see. He wants to file through the driver at fault’s insurance so not to raise our price. The police did not let him get his insurance info so we are waiting for the report. What happens now?? What do we do?? Will they offer a settlement and how soon??

California won’t provide me an attorney and the cost of flying back and forth is bankrupting me.

a co-worker who has an expired, not suspended, just expired license had a minor fender bender in the lot at work with a woman. She does have insurance, as does he. she is saying she hurt her neck, and I think she is lying, (like 10mph) This happened on private property (so no cops) with only one witness, me. I dont think either was at fault, to be honest, I think it was more the design of our lot at work, it was bound to happen.
What should he do, get a laywer? let the insurance companys handle it? Teh reason I ask is he will ask me to court for him and I dont wanna get involved since I cant lie and say it was something it was not.

I am more inconvenienced by the time it takes to go to the doctor’s office, getting auto estimates, trips to physical therapy, and looking around for medical supplies for my pain. I could have used this time to be with family, work on my business, or teach adjunct at a local college. How do I quantify this ($) when making a claim? I am on summer break (teacher) so it did not affect wages.

I’ve waiting for this insurance company to settle my auto accident claim for almost a year now. I heard there was a loan agencie who pays you cash until your settlement comes, but I couldn’t find any online. Anyone know of any?
