Has anyone been in a car accident that wasn’t there fault and was the passenger and sued cause of injuries? if so how long did it take you? Did you settle or go to court? What was the estimated amount you recieved? I was in a car accident with a ankle injured and was the passenger and just wanting some ideas of what other people went through and what they got out of the lawsuit and how long it took them. thank you
i’ve got a lawyer who is asking for 1/3 of whatever i get.
Anyone have any expirence with Auto Accident settlements.?

I was wondering how long do you have before you have to settle.
I was in an accident about 8 months ago, they totalled my car and I have a small tear in my rotator cup. It only hurts when I work out, but I take a pain releiver, and that seems to do the trick.That is about it, I decided not to get surgery because the Doctor gave me a time frame between 2 days and 6 months that I would not be able to lift weights. I am still waiting to hear something from State Farm. I have an attorney, only because they tried to settle with me for 250.00, and I am pretty sure I should be able to get more, I am sure not much more, but it kind of made me mad that they would not go over 250.00.
Has anyone ever got a car accident insurance settlement?

I was in a car accident last year, i hired a lawyer and he got me a little settlement money. I have already signed the papers, and he’s waiting on papers from the adjuster. Its now September 11th 2009. How long will i have to wait?? Only serious answers please!

My daughter shattered her arm in an auto accident last weekend (Friday) and had surgery a week later (Friday) to fix it. She was the passenger in the car. She does not have any health insurance. The police report states that due to conflicting stories, they cannot place who was at fault. But I was able to obtain a CD from a service station that had the accident on tape. The other party turned in front of my daughter while they both had a green light. After asking around to friends and family, nobody knows of a good attorney for me to contact! I’m looking for all of her medical bills to be paid, as well as lost wages. Has anybody had success with a certain lawyer or know of a good one I can call? I would really like a referral instead of just picking one out of the phone book. Thanks!

I was in an accident yesterday and although it wasnt devastating I am hurting and couldnt go to work today. I’m kind of new to Austin Texas and dont know any chiro or attorney to see as I know the insurance co will give me the run around.

I was involved in an auto accident in may of 2008 in where i had gotten injured. i had an attorney but now they are saying that i need to get a trial attorney to file a lawsuit against the at fault driver’s insurance company because they don’t handle those types of things.. so if anyone knows of someone good who has won before or come close let me know..
