I had a small accident in September, and by just bad luck, my insurance was cancelled(for like 10 days between payments), so I want to present a case to get my car back in shape.
The other party did not report the accident(although I reported mine to my insurance agent)

If i’m rear-ended in an auto accident, the other driver is at fault and their insurance covers my rental. are there any limitations as to what the insurance covers? will i be responsible for the damage waiver and so forth?
i was actually asking who pays for the insurance on the rental car.
i’m not young. the other driver was proven to be at fault.
I’m in the state of Louisiana. There was no police report.

I already have an attorney and after a year of the insurance company denying my claims, this attorney got a reconstructionist company to look at my case, because in Colorado you have to prove the liablitiy of the other person, especially when the cops don’t give out a ticket. This company wrote a complimentary letter stating 100% of the liablitiy was this girl’s. So now the insurance compnay wants us to put together a settlement amount to present them with & not file the lawsuit right now. We have a great chance to settle very soon, but I know I need to have money for a future surgery and ongoing therapy and medications probably for the rest of my life. My spine doc said for me to use therapy and anything else to help me cope with pain until I can’t ake anymore & then surgery. This is because I am only 36 & in good shape, the advise me to try & cope as long as possible as there are new alternatives delveloping. I don’t want to be fused.
My hubby was in an accident a couple of days ago. His car is mangled and he is suffering from back pain. After accident he went to the ER to be checked and was fine as far as they could see. He wants to file through the driver at fault’s insurance so not to raise our price. The police did not let him get his insurance info so we are waiting for the report. What happens now?? My insurance company wants me to contribute personal funds to settle the claim. A lawsuit maybe file against me for the different. I thought insurance conpamies only settle with the max limits I have on my policies?
My friend was driving my car & got into an accident, damage is about $5k, my insurance deductable is $1k. The police report & insurance report stats my friend was 100% at fault. a co-worker who has an expired, not suspended, just expired license had a minor fender bender in the lot at work with a woman. She does have insurance, as does he. she is saying she hurt her neck, and I think she is lying, (like 10mph) This happened on private property (so no cops) with only one witness, me. I dont think either was at fault, to be honest, I think it was more the design of our lot at work, it was bound to happen.
What should he do, get a laywer? let the insurance companys handle it? Teh reason I ask is he will ask me to court for him and I dont wanna get involved since I cant lie and say it was something it was not.
I am more inconvenienced by the time it takes to go to the doctor’s office, getting auto estimates, trips to physical therapy, and looking around for medical supplies for my pain. I could have used this time to be with family, work on my business, or teach adjunct at a local college. How do I quantify this ($) when making a claim? I am on summer break (teacher) so it did not affect wages.

I got in a accident today in a parking basement i was going down into a a lower level when a guy with a big suv was in the middle of the ramp I quickly slammed on my breaks and avoided the guy but in doing so my tires slid cause I have a heavily 1991 firebird on a slope with a layer of sand on the pavement now there is no slippery pavement signs nor are there any speed bumps on this ramp is the suitble for a lawsuit cause now my car is smashed and my friend in the car says his neck has been hurting him ever since it happend
I was in a car accident in October. A lady was arguing with her son and rear ended me at 40 mph. I sustained neck, back, and shoulder injuries. I still have pain in my shoulder that the dr. feels will most likely never be corrected. The insurance co I am dealing with says I deserve no compensation for pain and suffering and their offer is not even enough to cover what it cost me in medical bills, time off work, and dropping class at school. I have never been in an accident before and I don’t know how this works. Do you know what an appropriate settlement would be or how to figure out how much it should be? PLEASE HELP.

I was in an accident. I didn’t have insurance and the other driver did. He was at fault for the accident and the police report says so also. I got cited for no insurance and my car got towed.
Everyone is saying I still can make a claim against his insurance company even without insurance because it was his fault.
How would I go about making a claim to his insurance company. I know they will try to screw me over and try to screw up my story. But any help is appreciated….
