If i’m rear-ended in an auto accident, the other driver is at fault and their insurance covers my rental. are there any limitations as to what the insurance covers? will i be responsible for the damage waiver and so forth?
i was actually asking who pays for the insurance on the rental car.
i’m not young. the other driver was proven to be at fault.

My hubby was in an accident a couple of days ago. His car is mangled and he is suffering from back pain. After accident he went to the ER to be checked and was fine as far as they could see. He wants to file through the driver at fault’s insurance so not to raise our price. The police did not let him get his insurance info so we are waiting for the report. What happens now?? I am more inconvenienced by the time it takes to go to the doctor’s office, getting auto estimates, trips to physical therapy, and looking around for medical supplies for my pain. I could have used this time to be with family, work on my business, or teach adjunct at a local college. How do I quantify this ($) when making a claim? I am on summer break (teacher) so it did not affect wages.

I was in an accident. I didn’t have insurance and the other driver did. He was at fault for the accident and the police report says so also. I got cited for no insurance and my car got towed.
Everyone is saying I still can make a claim against his insurance company even without insurance because it was his fault.

Does anyone know the time frame that these things take? All I know is my lawyer sent State Farm a demand letter on April 9, about the accident that took place early last year. Do they usually take awhile to respond? Does state farm them give my lawyer a number, or is this for something else?
Any help would be appreciated. Lawyer of course does not tell me anything.

I was in a fender bender halloween night. The accident was “allegedly” my fault. The cops showed up got our info and we both reported to our insurance. I track my claim online and it says the case is closed but I have not recieved any info on if I have to pay or if I do not. It has been closed for over a month.
I am more worried about my deductible, not about paying directly for the other car.

my friend was in a road accident with a drunk driver, the driver had no licence, insurance and wasn’t the owner of the vehicle. how does she stand putting in an injury claim?? her arm/elbow is still in pins and suffered stitches to her head and hand.

Has anyone heard of a 90/10 claim law in Massachusetts.
MA driver and NH driver hit, MA driver at fault. NH driver, no insurance. Claim adjuster stated there is a 90/10 law because of how the NH driver struck the MA driver in the back corner of vehicle.
So NH driver pays 10% of the damages he has and the MA insurance company pay’s 90% of the NH drivers claim?
Thanks. the accident happened in MA in a parking lot. He did not know his policy was cancelled, it is recitified now. The MA driver was at fault running a stop sign and is covering 100% of the NH drivers claim. Thank you again for your answer.
