Not quite 4 months ago, I hired an attorney because I had been rear-ended and the repair estimate was close to $7,000. For therapy and diagnosis/prognosis, I had maybe 6 doctor/chiropractor visits over the course of the next month. Now, I’m waiting to hear whether the insurance company will accept our demand.
Anyway, that’s the background information about the accident and hiring a lawyer. How long do physical injury accident cases take to settle?
I was in a fender bender halloween night. The accident was “allegedly” my fault. The cops showed up got our info and we both reported to our insurance. I track my claim online and it says the case is closed but I have not recieved any info on if I have to pay or if I do not. It has been closed for over a month.
I am more worried about my deductible, not about paying directly for the other car.
