I have contacted numerous dealers and customer support. No one has an answer for me. I need to read the module for key information in an auto accident lawsuit.
The airbags did not deploy, and the module is still in the driveable vehicle.

Injury was a cervical strain. How much do you think that is worth? (I am bracing for the negative comments, so go ahead if you must!) 
I was not at fault in an accident and had sustained multiple injuries. I had quite a bit of medical bills. My own medical insurance company has covered all of my bills. Will they try to get reimbursed after I settle with my auto insurance? How do they even find out about my settlement?
What are the steps into trying to get a settlement from a car accident victim? Victim was not at fault what so ever.
i was in a vehicle with a friend and was hit by another car it hurt me in the wreck (but didnt do much to the car) i was thrown into the dash causing whiplash. the ambulance had to take me to the E.R and i was released and has to attend physical therapy for a couple of weeks bc of the knots in my back and all that and i had a total of $3,600 in medical bills. my attorney started working on my case back in january when it happend. the other car was a rental car so he had to sue the rental insurance. im still waiting for my settlement money. the attorney said the insurance place has an offer of $5,000. should this be the appropriate amount or should i be entitled to more? i miss lots of school due to this and lost my credits so i cant graduate with the rest of the class. is this a fair amount?
A guy rear ended my car and totalled it. I also suffered injuries and needed to go to the hospital.

I don’t have a car right now, so can I rent a car and include that in the lawsuit?? What if I have to rent for a year? Will the judge allow that?
We have been dealing with a personal injury lawsuit for about two years. The accident occurred in CA and we reside in another state, so we are dealing with our attorney all long distance. The case has been complicated, mainly due to an inattentive attorney from the start, whom we fired. We retained our current attorney not too long ago and the case against the defendants insurance company has been resolved and funds have been sent to our attorney. Here is where it becomes tricky. The funds for my settlement have been sent to us, the attorney is holding the funds from my husband’s portion of the settlement until a settlement is reached with our insurance company (the defendant was an underinsured driver, we had underisured driver coverage). Our attorney claims he cannot release these funds because he will more than likely need to spend the money on litigating the case against our insurance company..and it just does not make sense to me. In our eyes, the case against the defendant is closed (and in the courts eyes) I don’t see why the funds cannot be released, but my attorney alleges this is normal practice in personal injury law. Anyone have any experience with a situation similar to this? Thanks.

My father was involved in a car wreck almost a year ago and today was served papers. The police accident report faulted neither for the wreck and stated that neither party was hurt. The man involved never filed a claim with the insurance company for either the damage to his vehicle (which was just a minor scratch) or injuries sustained. Now he wants my dad to pay for damages, medical bills, lost wages, mental anguish, etc. He also wants a trial by jury for this. If anyone can give me some advice on this, I would greatly appreciate it and will supply additional information if needed. Thanks!

Someone in my life is going through bankruptcy and the significant other got injured on the job and is expecting a good settlement. The attorney’s have told them both that either way if you file for bankruptcy they will still be able to open it back up, lets say a year later, and take what you went bankrupt for. I guess they have not signed any papers, since they are looking into it to see what their best option is. Is there anyway around it, so they can still file bankrupt and also get the settlement which they deserve?
I was issued 2 separate checks one in my name for 19,329 dollars that is issued to me. and another one for 30,671 dollars that is made out to me and the hospital i was treated at when I had my car accident. I was covered under a 50,000 dollar injury insurance policy and was paid out but was told by the insurance agent that I would have to negotiate with the billing dept. to see if they would take a lower payment. She said i should offer them 10000 dollars. That usually they will settle for half of the bill. I was also insured by my medical insurance and want to know if there is anything i should know before trying to negotiate with the billing dept. I was told my insurance company should have paid but because of auto insurance the hosptal goes after that first. I will be out of work for about 4 more months due to a back injury and think I should be entitled to more because of stress and pain i have been through. Can someone offer me some advice

I’m just wanting to know some information on other cases that might have had to go through this. I basically was in a wreck wasn’t our fault. my ankle got injuried and i’ve never had to go with a lawyer before and was just wondering what other people have expericened through this time. and how much they recieved. it has been 3 months ago and i am still having to see docs cause my ankle has not healed yet but if it does i want to know what kind of settlement would i be looking at? my lawyer has his fee of 1/3 of whatever i get. but in other cases what did ya’ll get?
1 year after getting a few hundred dollars from my insurance company the othe party is now suing me in small claims court claiming they were injured and for pain & suffering.
my insurance company already denied their medical bills claim. can i call the suing party and ask them to provide me with evidence of this injury ? like medical bills , x-rays, doctor reports etc ?
am i legally allowed to do so and are they required to give me this evidence before court hearing ?

my boyfriend was in a car accident & his lawsuit just settled.
