I recieved a dog bite almost a year ago and hired an attorney quickly as the owner of the dogs was not willing to compensate me for my injuries. The owner also refused to give out their homeowner’s insurance information, so I had to get an attorney to force them to give it up. I have been recieving medical treatment for my injuries and have a nasty scar on my breast. My attorney wants me to meet with them and the Insurance company to show them my injury in person. I have never heard of this being done before and I don’t know if this a smart move on my attorney’s part. Plus, I am very self conscious of the way my breast looks and don’t like the idea of exposing myself to strangers. To my knowledge no settlement or agreement to do so has been put forth. Is this normal? What should I do?

In 1998 I was T – Boned by another driver in another pickup truck. He hit me at approx. 50mph in a 40mph zone, I was crossing with green light at approx. 3mph. He got a ticket for running a red light. I had small pieces of glass in my right arm, and a goose egg on my forehead. But because I had seat and shoulder belt on. My back injury did not show up for at least 6 months. I went to a chiropractor and he xrayed my spine and said it was twisted in 2 places. I have problems with nerves getting pinched causing my legs to go out from under me. What I want to know is, how many years after an accident do I have to sue for injuries. I was in 3 cars accident a week ago. A lady rear ended me and hit my car. I only felt one impact from the accident. The third car just hit the car behind me.

I have waited for two years for the answer. I was driving a rental car for my employer while on the job. The brand new 2005 Chevy TrailBlazer’s airbags did not deploy.

I am a worker and I have learned to adapt around the 24/7 pain I have.
