If i’m rear-ended in an auto accident, the other driver is at fault and their insurance covers my rental. are there any limitations as to what the insurance covers? will i be responsible for the damage waiver and so forth?
i was actually asking who pays for the insurance on the rental car.
i’m not young. the other driver was proven to be at fault.

Not quite 4 months ago, I hired an attorney because I had been rear-ended and the repair estimate was close to $7,000. For therapy and diagnosis/prognosis, I had maybe 6 doctor/chiropractor visits over the course of the next month. Now, I’m waiting to hear whether the insurance company will accept our demand.

Back in december I was involved in an automobile accident due to snow. I rear-ended a nissan xterra. I had no insurance at the time of the accident, It is now June and I recieved a letter from an attorney regarding a lawsuit from the person I hit to pay for her personal injuries as well as her passengers. I only work 20 hours a week and make less that 160 a week. My question is, can they actually sue me if I have no assets and I’m low-income?

I recently settled a lawsuit dealing with an automobile accident. My car insurance medical coverage exhausted at 15,000, and I still had bills to pay so my primary picked it up. But now that it is settled I think I have to pay my primary back. My lawyer said he got me full coverage from my auto insurance dealing with my injuries for the rest of my life in the settlement. My question is…. is there a way instead of me paying back my primary insurance company, by just having them forward the bills to the auto insurance since they will be paying my bills from now on? Or am I going to have to pay out of pocket. Thanks in advance!

I was in a fender bender halloween night. The accident was “allegedly” my fault. The cops showed up got our info and we both reported to our insurance. I track my claim online and it says the case is closed but I have not recieved any info on if I have to pay or if I do not. It has been closed for over a month.
I am more worried about my deductible, not about paying directly for the other car.

I was rear-ended in Oct.2008. My car was totaled and I have quite a few injuries now. My lawyer called and said I have to meet with the adjusters. But I am still not really sure what that is about? Also, What is a typical payout for situations like these? my injuries are TMJ, 2 torn rotator cuffs, 2 herniated discs in my lower spine , 1 bulging in my neck, And spasmodic torticollis. I am worried about my long term medical expenses from all of this. Can someone help answer some of my questions?

I was a passenger in my friends truck when he lost control of the vehicle. I woke up face down in the dirt with a truck on my back, I had to flown by helicopter to a hospital an hour away.I had a separated shoulder ac joint which had to operated on, a cracked vertabrate, a collapsed lung, and a couple of broke ribs.I am a self-employed landscaper, and will at least miss out on 12 weeks of work, as of now I have pretty much lost all of my clients. And not real for sure if I will every be able to be as strong, and physically active as I was pre-wreck. As of now my medical bills are near 50,000. Once the settlement is agreed on. Is it law that the account has to be set up under a structured annunity account or can the parents set up a trust account at a bank for the child.
The reason for the question is a family friend who is an attorney is Oklahoma handled the settlement for me. However, the law in OK is different and he is not sure how it is handled in GA. He said I may have to now hire an attorney in GA.
